Which training is right for me?
We offer training classes for beginners as well as for advanced users of Proxmox VE. If you’re not sure which training is right for you, please contact Proxmox or an Authorized Proxmox Training Partner.
How can I enroll in a training course?
To enroll in a Proxmox VE training please use the registration form or send an email to Proxmox or the Authorized Training Partner providing the training. You will then receive all details.
Where do trainings take place?
- Virtual trainings take place in an interactive, online environment (e.g. BigBlueButton) and will be conducted by certified Proxmox instructors. All you need is a computer with internet access. You will receive details after enrollment.

Classroom trainings take place at a local training center from either Proxmox or the Authorized Training Partner. Please visit their website
What does instructor-led training mean?
Instructor-led training means that the training is taught by a certified Proxmox trainer or Authorized Training Partner. Courses can be held online/virtual or on-site.
Who can deliver official Proxmox VE Training?
All instructors are validated by Proxmox and own a trainer certificate. Only trainers from Authorized Training Partners have access to and can deliver Proxmox VE courses.
What time do classes begin?
The majority of classes run between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CET/CEST. But there may be different schedules for different time zones. Please check the description of your selected training and/or your confirmation email which you will receive after registration.

What is the difference between a 4 day and 5 day course?
The training content and duration (in hours) is identical in all trainings. In order to offer training for different time zones, we offer different schedules. So a course lasts either 4 days, 5 days or 8 half days (all contain the identical number of effective training hours).
How much does a training cost?

Do I receive an invoice?
Yes, after registration, you will receive an email with a prepayment invoice.

Why did the course name change?
We’ve updated the name of our training courses to better reflect the course’s focus and ensure clarity for new and existing participants: "Proxmox VE Installation and Administration" is now "Proxmox VE Deployment and Management" and "Proxmox VE Advanced" is now "Proxmox VE Clustering and Shared Storage". While the name has changed, the core content and quality remain the same.
Does this change affect my enrollment?
No, your enrollment remains completely valid. You will continue to have the same access to remote/online or in-person class, course materials, and support as before. There’s nothing you need to do!
Is my certificate still valid under the new training course name?
Yes! If you’ve already completed the training and received a certificate under "Proxmox VE Installation and Administration" or "Proxmox VE Advanced", it remains fully valid. There is no need to retake the course or update your certificate—it holds the same value and recognition as before.
Is my promotion "Training plus" still valid?

Has the course content changed?

The Proxmox VE Installation and Administration training provides a basic technical foundation, covering the essential topics that will enable participants to successfully deploy and manage virtual machines and containers in your data center, using the server virtualization management platform Proxmox VE. This training is aimed at system engineers/administrators and IT professionals interested in understanding the fundamental concepts, architecture and functionality of the Proxmox VE platform.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to build and administer a modern production virtual environment. All trainings are conducted live by certified instructors from Proxmox Server Solutions or an Authorized Proxmox Training Partner. Proxmox VE training courses consist of both theory and lab exercises to give participants a deep understanding, in addition to hands-on experience.
