We are announcing the final release of Proxmox Mail Gateway 2.1 including prebuilt and certified virtual appliances for VMware™, Virtuozzo™ and OpenVZ.

Proxmox Virtual Appliances can be run with just a few clicks.

Virtuozzo™ and OpenVZ uses OS virtualization which means maximum performance with all advantages from virtualization.

All Appliances are production ready and fully supported.

New Message Tracking Center

The brand new message tracking center simplifies the search for emails dramatically. All log files from the last 7 days can be queried and the results are summarized by an intelligent algorithm. The message tracking center is very fast and powerful, tested on Proxmox sites processing 1 million emails per day.

Virtuozzo™ Virtual Appliance (and OpenVZ)

Virtuozzo™ (Virtualization technology from http://www.swsoft.com) creates isolated partitions on a single physical server and OS instance to utilize hardware, software, and management effort with maximum efficiency.

How can you get the update for existing intallations?

For Commercial or Trial version:

Download the servicepack 2.1. Please use IE6 or IE7, conntect to the web interface and upload the file to your Proxmox. After applying the update, please check your configuration and all services, never update when you system is under heavy load.

You have to download the new ISO image 2.1 and reinstall your Proxmox. Please consider updating to a commercial license for easy updating.
