These instructions assume basic skills in using VMware products.

Virtual Appliances are one of the easiest ways to start using virtualization.  
This appliance is tested for use with VMware player, VMware Server, VMware Workstation,
and VMware ESX Server. 

To run this appliance on VMware ESX Server 3.x or ESX Server 3i:
Please use VMware Converter (starter edition -- free) to transfer the appliance 
to your ESX Server host.

VMware products are available at: http://www.vmware.com/

VMware Tools components are already installed.

Starting Proxmox Mail Gateway Virtual Appliance
=====================================================

1.  You must have VMware Player, VMware Workstation, VMware Server, or VMware ESX Server.
2.  Download the Virtual Appliance and unpack the zip file.
2a. If you are using VMware ESX Server, migrate the appliance over to the host using
    VMware Converter.
3.  Use your VMware product to open and run proxmox-mailgateway.vmx file
4.  Observe your VMware console: Login with user 'root' and password 'admin'
5.  Type 'proxsetup' to adjust the IP configuration
6.  Type 'reboot' to activate changes
7.  After reboot, point your brower to the IP address specified to access 
    the web interface (https://youripaddress/)
8.  In order to see full functionality and to process your emails please 
    generate and upload a trial/free license key with your mail domains.
